Saint Mary Mokena welcomes award-winning musical artist, author and TV show host Tatiana “Tajci” Cameron for a free series of talks on personal healing, loving more deeply and uplifting others on March 5-7 at 7 pm in the church hall.
Born in former Yugoslavia, Tajci began her career at age 19 as a finalist in the Eurovision Song Contest and a record-breaking pop-star in her home country. She moved to the United States after the Yugoslav Wars where she continued as a singer/songwriter, performing in over 1,000 concerts across the country.
Today, in addition to singing, Tajci dedicates her life to inspirational speaking and life coaching, drawing upon her own experiences and personal upheavals, as well as her Catholic faith. She also hosts her own TV show called “Waking Up in America.”
Her visit to Saint Mary is expected to include a mix of speaking and musical performance. All community members are welcome to this free event.
“I heard Tajci when I was a seminarian at Mundelein Seminary, and she was amazing!” says Rev. Dindo Billote, pastor of St. Mary Mokena. “I highly encourage everyone to come listen to her beautiful music and Catholic message.”
