St. Mary Mokena will welcome Catholic author, speaker, and mom, Kathryn Whitaker, to give a talk at the parish hall on Monday, October 7th at 7:00 pm.
Whitaker is the author of “Live Big, Love Bigger,” a story of her journey toward a life of joy-filled purpose, love, and faith after the stressful, premature birth of her son. Her talk will primarily revolve around topics related to this story.
“We’re so excited to invite Kathryn because of her deep faith yet down-to-earth approach,” says Danielle Kuboushek, Faith Formation Coordinator at St. Mary Mokena. “We hope women especially will walk away from the talk with a renewed sense of purpose in their vocation as mothers, as well as with a peek into the faith of another “real” woman.”
Whitaker is a sixth-generation Texan, Catholic author, blogger, speaker, and freelance graphic designer who shares what it’s like raising a raucous Catholic family on her website teamwhitaker.org.
For more information, contact Danielle Kuboushek at dkuboushek@stmarymokena.org. RSVPs are encouraged, but not required.
