Liturgical Life & Faith Traditions Flourish Under Fr. Dindo’s Guidance

By Raymond Kay

Under the leadership of Fr. Dindo Billote, St. Mary Parish has experienced a renewal in its liturgical and devotional life.

Time-honored Catholic celebrations such as Corpus Christi processions, Marian processions, and the beloved Simbang Gabi traditions have been beautifully upheld, drawing parishioners of all ages into deeper participation in the life of the Church.

The Christmas concerts, filled with sacred music and joyful spirit, have become treasured parish events that reflect the heart of the season and the unity of the community.

A Sacred Space Transformed for Generations to Come

Fr. Dindo has overseen significant renovations that have enhanced both the beauty and functionality of St. Mary’s sacred spaces.

For example, the main church renovations, including the installation of a new altar, baptismal font, Stations of the Cross, stained glass, and new statues and art, have elevated the worship experience, showcasing the beauty of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The parish hall has also been updated to better serve parish ministries and gatherings.

These improvements have fostered a sense of community at the parish and contributed to remarkable growth, with the number of registered families rising from 2,738 in 2014 to 4,688 in 2024—an increase of more than 70%.

A Culture of Vocation and Eucharistic Devotion

Fr. Dindo’s pastorate has nurtured both prayer and priestly vocations. The opening and renovation of the Adoration Chapel has provided a quiet, holy space for parishioners to encounter Christ in the Eucharist, day and night, and recent restoration work there has further enhanced the experience.

This spirit of prayer has borne fruit: two local priests have been ordained from the parish during his tenure, and several seminarians have been trained and later ordained—a testament to the grace at work in this community. Through his faithful service, Fr. Dindo continues to cultivate a parish rooted in prayer and open to God’s call.

Thank You

We thank God for the gift of Fr. Dindo’s priesthood and his faithful leadership at St. Mary Parish. Through his devotion to the Eucharist, love for the Church’s traditions, and commitment to sacred beauty, he has helped foster a vibrant, prayerful, and growing parish. His legacy is one of renewal, reverence, and spiritual fruitfulness—one that will continue to bless the community for generations to come.
