Father Mark Bernhard challenged the men of St. Mary to rise above temptation and prioritize Christ during a talk on Saturday, May 15. The talk, entitled “Turbulent Times Require Anchored Men,” was hosted by St. Mary Men’s Ministry and focused on discerning one’s interior life and “anchoring” it to Christ.

A Holy Occasion: Bishop Ordains Two St. Mary Seminarians as Deacons
Two seminarians from St. Mary Mokena were ordained deacons by Bishop Ronald Hicks on Friday, April 23, 2021 during a diocesan Mass of Ordination at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus in Joliet. Deacons Brian Geary and Gregory Alberts are now considered transitional deacons as they anticipate being ordained priests next year.

St. Mary Welcomes Teens to Attend the 2021 Steubenville Catholic Youth Conference
Incoming high school freshmen through graduating seniors are invited to attend the 2020 Steubenville Youth Conference at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio from July 17-19, 2020. The St. Mary Mokena Youth Ministry Group is organizing the trip and will be traveling together via bus.
